The Fruit of the Spirit is...

is definitely not strawberries.  But what a cute idea Emily came to me with!

Brookside Church always holds a spring women's event.  At this event, table sponsors decorate their individual tables in such creative and unique ways.

Emily was inspired by a cloth napkin she found with fruit on it.  Fruit; Fruit of the Spirit; see the connection?

Here is what Emily's idea led to!

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
Galatians 5:22-23

Chi Omega Fundraiser

Recently a representative from Chi Omega at University of Nebraska Omaha contacted me to see if I'd be able to help provide cupcakes for their upcoming charity fundraiser.  What a blessing!

Chi Omega was able to raise $2,500 for Make a Wish Foundation!  Woohoo!!  What a blessing to the kids who will get to make their wish!

The picture I took isn't the best-sorry!

Happy Birthday Abby!

Abby recently celebrated a birthday!  Her Mama asked me if I'd make cuppy cakes topped with cake pops; Angry Birds style!

Honestly, I was a bit nervous to take on this wonderful project.  I know *nothing* of Angry Birds!  Apparently I'm behind on the times ;)

Thank the Lord for the internet and detailed pictures of the Angry Birds game!!!  They sure came to the rescue when it came to the birds and their details!

I'm pretty proud of these!  I think they turned out great and so did Abby's Mama!  From the pictures of Abby's birthday I've seen, it looks like the cuppy cakes and cake pops fit right in!

Enjoy!!

Rhythm!!

A while back, Kelly from Eagle's Nest Worship Center contacted me about providing dessert for their upcoming women's conference.  I was delighted!

Kelly and Pastor Hart asked me to create cake pops, brownie pops and cheesecake pops in the shape of balls of yarn as well as designed with some of the patterns on their invitation!

I had a great time creating for this special event!

May we all find the rhythm God has for our life!

Happy 1st Birthday Lady Bug!

I had the privilege of making cuppy cakes for Little H's first birthday!  Her Mama is having a lady bug themed party.  She left the creative ideas up to me!
